Hello fellow creatives! I’m Jessica Chevon, an art educator with a passion for helping individuals of all skill levels unlock their potential and take their art to the highest level. Originally from Texas, I earned my Fine Art and Art Education Degrees from Old Dominion University. I went on to teach High School Art in Virginia Beach Public Schools for 12 amazing years, and currently work as a Middle/Upper School Art Educator at Norfolk Academy.

In my career, I have been recognized as a Distinguished Educator, Art Teacher of the Year, Holocaust Educator of the Year, and Secondary Art Educator for the State of Virginia by the Virginia Art Education Association. I also served as department chair and currently sponsor Norfolk Academy’s chapter of the National Art Honors Society and am AP certified.

While being a High School Art Educator is the joy of my life, I also like to educate adults and enjoy taking time to create my own work. My goal is to create a safe, therapeutic, welcoming online space for artist to thrive! Whether you’re looking to learn, collaborate, or commission, I am here to guide you on your art endeavors.
